Lower left jaw bone completely broken. It was only held together by tissue. Tooth and jaw completely rotted out. A deep hollow cavity in the bone was only thing there. Some type of injury caused what I would guess an infection in the jaw which resulted in the tooth dying and rotting out, causing bone to deteriorate. Very likely an antler tip from another deer during a fight that punctured and cracked the jaw causing this progressive damage.
Broken nose that healed completely crooked.

Opossum Skull
This buck had broken nose that was held together by the cartilage of the nose. Once this skull was clean the piece fell off. You can see by both ends there's no clean break and both actually started to heal and round over.
A pellet lodged and healed in the bone of this bucks skull.
Clearly somebody shot this buck with a pellet gun!
